Who is this trip for? Pastors, church staff, laypersons, and students.
South Africa is a nation of contrast. Modern cities are surrounded by areas of poverty, homelessness and great need. South Africa is one of the leading countries of the world in incidences of HIV. A young generation is at great risk concerning aids, drug use and distribution. There are three distinct people groups in South Africa: Black African, White, and Colored. Each with their own special needs. There is a spiritual movement among South Africans and many are turning to the Lord.
We work directly with the South African Baptist Convention and local missionaries. Ministry areas include Johannesburg, Cape Town and other areas more inland. There is a great need for ongoing discipleship, church planting, evangelism and ministry on college campuses.
