World Reach Partnerships exists to partner with your local church in its global mission efforts. It is our desire to see every church directly involved in short term missions, not only by giving financially (though that is certainly part of the calling) but also by going. We believe that the great commission is going to be fulfilled through God’s people, His church.

Many churches have the correct vision and goal, but just don’t know where to start. There’s nothing worse than a short term mission trip gone bad. The heart is right, but the method is all wrong and many teams end up causing more harm than good for the national churches and local missionaries.

We want to help. With more than twenty years experience in over forty countries, Rick Via Ministries partners closely with national churches and local missionaries, seeking to make the most of a short time of ministry. We’re not interested in sightseeing or vacationing. We want to see every team getting their hands dirty and working tirelessly to plant churches, encourage missionaries, train pastors, treat patients, teach children, and reach people with the Gospel.

Changing Lives
We believe that the greatest impact will be made when a church chooses a people group to invest in year after year, building relationships and changing lives. It is our desire to have an impact on those we’re ministering to, as well as those being sent. God uses short term missions to change the lives of His people. We have seen students gain new insight for the lost world around them. We have seen professionals leave their jobs to become full-time missionaries. We have seen pastors and laypeople return to the U.S. with a fresh passion for the Gospel.

Logistics
There is much that goes into taking a mission trip. In order for your time to be most effective, it is extremely important to be well prepared for your time overseas. That is why having a sending agency like World Reach is so helpful. We do all the planning so you can focus on doing ministry. We can help by organizing travel itineraries, booking flights, transportation and lodging, obtaining visas, making sure all vaccines are in order, assembling interpreters, planning ministry activities alongside missionaries and churches, and budgeting for travel and ministry. All of these things (and more) go in to a taking a successful, safe, short term mission trip.

After you carefully assemble your team and prayerfully choose a country from one of our locations, we will begin the logistics, planning the week of ministry, working closely with our local missionary or church in that particular country. A few months before our departure, we will schedule a day of training to sit down with your team and go over everything they need to know, from getting their shots and visas to getting them prepared for ministry in a foreign country.

Finances
The total cost we give you for your trip is all-inclusive. It includes airfare, lodging, ground transportation, meals, water, tips, taxes, per diem, and travel insurance. The only extra money you may need is for your passport, visa, shots, snacks, personal items, laundry, & souvenirs. Rick Via trains and leads all of our mission teams. By partnering with us you agree to cover Rick’s travel expenses, which will be divided among the price of each team member’s trip.

We are excited about partnering with you to take the Gospel to the nations. If you have any questions, please contact Jacob Via at jacob@rickvia.org or (540) 521-7083.
