When it was all said and done, 5600 people were treated in the medical clinics, 600 pastors and their wives received training, clothing, Bibles, etc., and 1640 professed Jesus Christ as their Savior. Every day I get down to pray I see faces that were originally socked in agony because of pains caused by long suffered disease beaming with hope; the hope that Christ gives, that hope that the Lord Christ enabled you bring to Uganda. Now, I am glad my daughter Jamie got to participate in this worthy cause. At first I was apprehensive as I write below.

A few months ago, I had warned Jamie about going to Africa fearing Muslim reprisal for recent US progress in Afghanistan. Also, I fear flying myself and often think about the Lockerbie crash.

Prayer and trust in Jamie and the Lord helped me accept her participation. She has come so far in her life. She survived a failed marriage and a rough childhood from a broken home.
